                        November 2005                                                July 2006

Hello to everyone out there, my name is Zero!

I am about 20 years old (give or take a couple) and DTHR took me in in November 2005 because I have COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, also known as heaves or broken wind) and have been having a really difficult time breathing. Actually I am so preoccupied with trying to get air, that I just don't eat enough. Right now DTHR is managing my health well with an Aero-mask and other medication, and this is why I can not get adopted at this time. The nice thing is that I know one of the horses here, his name is "Mc Cloud", because one year ago Mc Cloud and his donkey buddy "Sir Henry" were rescued by someone from DTHR as well, and both are still here. So I don't have to feel lonely or scared.

I am capable of running again and my pasture buddy is Roadie who was seriously injured when he was hit by a car before he came to DTHR. For now I will stay here since I do have severe flair-ups at times and need constant monitoring.

Oh, and one more thing, since I do have to get medication, and lots of special care and senior food, I would be very thankful if you could support me with a donation.
